We believe that the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible word of God, without error in the original autographs. We faithfully teach God’s word. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe in one living, just, merciful, holy, loving, sovereign God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All 3 persons of the trinity are equal in perfection. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe God is the Creator of the universe and the Creator of mankind. Adam and Eve were created in holiness but fell, and as a result all people everywhere are sinners. (Genesis 1:1, Genesis 2:7, Colossians 1:16-17, Romans 3:23)
We believe Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return. (Matthew 1:23, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
We believe the Holy Spirit permanently dwells in every believer the moment he is saved. The Holy Spirit is the ultimate Helper. He convicts us of sin and leads us in all truth. By His power we are saved, sanctified, and preserved until we are presented to Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 6:11, Ephesians 1:13-14)
We believe everyone who puts his faith and trust in Jesus Christ is saved from punishment for his sin and receives eternal life in the presence of God. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace made possible through Jesus Christ’s earthly life, death, and resurrection. (John 3:16-17, John 5:24, John 6:40)
We believe the church is the body of Jesus Christ and the bride of Jesus Christ. All members of the church should work together for the glory of God in peace, love, and unity. (Romans 12:4-5, Ephesians 1:22-23, Ephesians 4:3-6)
We believe Jesus Christ established two ordinances for believers: baptism and communion, which believers should celebrate in a worthy manner. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Matthew 28:18-20)
We believe Jesus Christ commanded all believers to share the gospel and disciple believers of all nations – locally, nationally, and internationally. (Matthew 28:18-20)
We believe in the future rapture of the church, when believers will meet Jesus in the air and be with Him forever. (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, John 14:3)
We believe in the bodily resurrection and judgment of all nonbelievers. Believers and nonbelievers will be separated for eternity: believers will receive eternal life with God, while nonbelievers will receive eternal punishment in hell, separate from God. (Mark 9:43-48, Luke 16:22-26, 1 John 5:11-13, Revelation 20:11-15)
